Learn Arabic in Madinah
Study Arabic and use it in daily life
Medinatouna combines structured Arabic study with living in Madinah, also commonly written Medina. The programme welcomes English-speaking learners from the UK and beyond, including brothers, sisters and families. A stay gives you opportunities to practise outside lessons while making time for prayer, revision and everyday life.
A twelve-module pathway for beginners
The Arabic programme covers reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, sentence building, listening and conversation. Complete beginners can join the modular pathway. If you have studied before, tell us about your experience when enquiring so we can discuss your level and the current teaching programme before you book.
Choose your study duration
Complete programme options are available for one, two or three months. A longer programme of up to six months can be discussed for eligible British citizen passport holders with appropriate entry permission. Programme duration must fit within the stay you are actually authorised to make; your passport alone does not grant a six-month stay.
Accommodation and programme prices
Study & Stay begins from £510 per month for travellers arranging their own flight and visa. Study, Stay & Umrah begins from £600 per month. Complete programmes currently start from £1,750 for one month, £2,090 for two months and £2,420 for three months. These are indicative prices; travel dates, flights and accommodation availability affect the final quote.
Families, support and independent living
Sisters and families can participate, subject to accommodation availability. Childcare may be available during Arabic lessons in the same building or an adjacent room. Ask us to confirm arrangements for your children before booking. You live independently, with English-speaking support for practical guidance, translation help and questions via WhatsApp.
Combine Arabic study with Quran and Umrah
The programme also includes opportunities for Quran recitation, memorisation and revision. Complete programmes include one Umrah trip per month with Madinah–Makkah transport and two nights in a four-star Makkah hotel for each trip. Your study focus and the current timetable should be agreed during preparation.
